Aosta Valley is the smallest and less inhabitated region in Italy but it displays the highest mountains in Europe. Set between Piedmont region and France it represents a real tourist paradise for lovers of nature and mountain resorts boasting woods and valleys, the Gran Paradiso National Park, the Mont Blanc, the peak of Cervino (Matterhorn) and part of the skiing district of Monte Rosa which are considered a national invaluable treasures.
