The historical building, dating back to the end of the17th century and fully immersed in greenery and it has recently been restored.
It is located in the centre of Piano di Mommio in the 2.000 sq. mts. park surrounding the owners’ villa.
On the ground floor a gallery, furnished with table and armchairs, bench and hammock, opens on the luxuriant well-kept garden, decorated with old jars, vessels and mortars which date back to the end of the first millenium.
The living-room has a fireplace and a wood-fired oven, while the dining-room has a large window overlooking the garden.
The spacious liveable kitchen is well-equipped with fridge, gas oven and dish-washer.
The first floor houses a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with an extra bed, to be fixed on request and 2 bathrooms with shower.
The house is provided with satellite TV, central heating, air-conditioning unit, washing machine and it is furnished with country style antique pieces, period terra cotta floor, authentic rafters in every room.
Pets and animals are not allowed on the premises.
A parking lot is available for the guests.
On request, it is sometimes possible to order dinners (once or twice a week) cooked and carefully prepeared by the owners (delicious local dishes) to be eaten even in the garden during the nice season.
Price should be agreed upon a menu choice according to tastes and suggestions.
Near the villa, guests can find shops, restaurants, wineshops and more, just within 10 minutes’ walk from the house.

Exit A11 - A11 Motorway Joint at Viareggio-Camaiore and drive towards Camaiore along the SP road up to Stae Road SS 439 (Ponte di Sasso). Turn right direction Massarosa/Lucca and you be soon in Piano di Mommio, furthermore the Via del Rio is easily reachable on your right hand-side.
