Our Locanda Sant'Anna is located 15 minutes from the exit gate of Como Nord (north) on the A9 motorway.
La Locanda (the inn) is set in the protected oasis of greenery, the Intelvi valley, also
known as the 'the green balcony on lake Como.
It is like paiing back time for those who
have a thirst for the countryside and
total silence.
The 'Locanda' dates back tp the nineth century and it was for many years a site of prayer and meditation for the religious nobility of Como and Milan.
During the 1930’s the Peroni family of
Argegno and their descendants restored
the property over many years.
More recently (in 1999) La Locanda has been completely renovated to create a spectacular "Relais & Chateux" offering seven charming bedrooms, each one with its individual style, and an elegant suite with a spectacular view on the Sasso Gordona Mount.
The Restaurant extends into tranquil and
ample gardens with Lake Como in the background.
You can sample the typical local dishes of the season and some of the best Italian wines in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Here you can easily spend a weekend recuperating, both body and mind.

Exit A9 Motorway at Como Nord and proceed towards Menaggio along the State Road 340 'Regina' and after 12 km you'll reach Argegno. Before entering in Argegno, turn left towards Schignano and after 2,5 km you will reach the village of Sant Anna and the Inn.
