Serena Majestic is a 4-star hotel complex. It is located on its own private beach, 1 km from the centre of Montesilvano and 5 km from Pescara town centre. The large Porto Allegro complex is just 300m from the hotel and is open from dawn till dusk. It has 11 film screens, shops, amusement arcades and restaurants.
The hotel has 200 rooms with ensuite bathrooms, hairdryers, telephone, satellite TV, Sky TV, refrigerator, veranda, air conditioning and several suites (two separate rooms, 3rd and 4th beds in bunk beds, 2 bathrooms, whirlpool bath, air conditioning, two TV's, Hi-Fi system and safe-deposit box).
The holiday apartment complex has 280 2-5 person studio apartments, each with veranda, ensuite bathroom and shower, kitchenette and electric hobs, telephone, TV socket, all crockery, pots, pans and cutlery. There are also some 7-person 2-room apartments. Some apartments have air conditioning. Serena Majestic is a large holiday-village hotel complex, brimming with entertainment, services and facilities: beach with all facilities, several bars, lounge area, TV room with eventual maxi-screen, discotheque, dance hall, self-service restaurant, videogames amusement arcade, outdoor theatre, shops (supermarket, boutique, hairdresser, store with newsagents and local specialities and tobacconists), Internet point, doctor's surgery open a few hours daily, baby club with parent-children play park, mini-club with paddling pool for children aged 3 to 10 (reserved for children with prior booking), teeny club for aged 11 to 13 junior club for aged 14 to 18, mum'n'baby kitchens staffed during main mealtimes stocked with basic foodstuffs (except for baby foods and liquid and powdered baby milk), swimming pool with diving boards from 1 to 3 metres, fun pool with waterslides, health centre with thermarium, sauna, Turkish, whirlpool and mud baths, massages, beauty treatments, solarium and mini-gym, floodlit tennis courts, bocce courts, playing field (basketball, volleyball, 5 a-side football), riding stables with special rates, attended fee-parking in the shade, free unattended parking (subject to availability in both cases) and individual lockable bicycle sheds. - By car:
* from North and from South to get to Montesilvano, take the A14 Bari-Milano motorway to the Pescara Nord-Citta' Sant'Angelo junction.
* from the Centre of Italy, the Pescara Nord exit is also just a few kilometres down the motorway from the Rome-Pescara junction (A24-A25).
The hotel is only 500m from the exit.
- By train:
Pescara is a major railway junction.
From the central station, you can take a taxi or the half-hourly bus service (bus no. 2/) from Pescara to Montesilvano.
The bus stop is in front of the hotel.
- By plane:
Pescara airport is 7km from Serena Majestic, 2.5km of which is thoroughfare and 4.5km dual carriageway.
There are daily flights for Rome, Turin and Milan.
