Description of

Podere Gli Olmi was an old farmhouse, which is today artistically restored, totally built with stone, with a special care of every particular.
It is composed by two buildings:
the old country house, which is today the hotel, and the stables, which are now intended for self-catering residence.

Podere gli Olmi is family run: Raffaele, who personally took care of building restoration, and Sabina, his wife, who helped him attending to administrative details, manage the firm, assisted by relatives and specialized staff.

- HOTEL gli Olmi, in the main building.
In the country house, where there are the reception, the bar and the kitchen, a whole wing of the ground floor is designed for dining-room and it creates a special impression due to its stone and brickwork, restored to the old splendour.
On the first floor there are 6 rooms with private bath, that also have the preciosity of stone and brickwork and are furnished according to the style of "Tuscan plain art".
The rooms, very well-lighted and equipped with double window, have a double bed or twin beds, with a wooden-beam ceiling.

- RESIDENCE gli Olmi, annexe.
The out-building is composed by 6 apartments, of which 2 monos (one-room-apt.) and 4 bilos (two-roomed-apt.) all equipped for self-catering facilities.
- Monolocale (2+1 Pers.) one room apartment composed of 1 kitchen/living-room with a coach bed + an additional bed and ensuite shower.

Each apartment has independent entrance and a private garden equipped with a large sunshade and table and chairs for outside.
The two buildings are equipped with air-conditioning system and every room/apartment is provided with safe box and cable TV.

- Facilities at the Podere gli Olmi Resort:
The swimming-pool, with a rectangular shape, measures 10m by 20m and from a depth of 1,40m reaches 3m.

Breakfast includes a bountiful buffet of fresh products.

For dinner guests will enjoy the traditional old tuscan cuisine, with genuine wines producted in our area.
A special care is taken choosing as row materials biological products, especially in horticulture, fruit-growing and oil and meat production.
The bar service is available for customers also by the swimming-pool.
How to reach the hotel :

- by car:
Exit Vada from the motor-way A12 Genova/Rosignano. Then turn left to SS1 Variante Aurelia, exit Vada.
Continue in the direction of Cecina for 1km, the second cross-road on the left is Via Tronto where you can find us at number 6.
The motor-way and the superhighway are 1,5 km far from our structure and the Salaiola Road, which gets to Volterra-San Gimignano, is less than 1km far from us.

5 km far from Cecina Train Station.
- by plane:
50 km far from Pisa International Airport.
