This old Olive Mill has recently been converted to a comfortable residence and offers the facility of a private swimming pool in a large garden.
The upper level terrace and the house enjoy stunning views over the valley and Lucca.
The property is surrounded by olives groves and its privacy is assured by a very high stonewall; the garden is carefully tended by Antonio who takes great pride in his work.
The house has a very large sitting room with a typical Tuscan fireplace and a bread oven, a modern well equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances, a large dining room, a twin and double bedroom, and a large bathroom with tub and a separate shower.
The room overlooking the lounge (Mansarda) is equipped with a double sofa bed and can accommodate two additional adults or children.
The back courtyard has the facility of a washing machine and clothes line.
The property is protected by fire and gas detection alarms and emergency battery lights systems.
The charming village of San Gennaro is a short distance from Collodi (3Km) the home of Pinocchio.
The Romanesque Church (11th Century) of the Village, overlooking the garden, proudly displays a recent discovered statue by Leonardo Da Vinci.
The local Philharmonic Band often display its talents in the church square beneath the house garden wall.

Pisa Florence Motorway A11 exiting at Chiesina Uzzanese (coming from Florence) or at Capannori (coming from the coast).
Exiting bothways drive towards Pescia and (if from Chiesina Uzzanese then in Pescia follow indication for the road to Lucca).
Turn left (from Capannori) or right (from Pescia) at the traffic lights to Collodi and take the local road to San Gennaro.
- By Train:
Pescia rail station.
- By Air:
Pisa or Florence airport.
The use of a car (private or hired) is essential since the village public transport service is very limited.
