Our Farm House Corte della Rusticuccia is set in the countryside of Lucca, in a conveniet ideal place to visit Tuscany.
The typical Tuscan Farmhouse dates back to the mid 700’s and it was the caretakers and farmers house to the Main Villa situated in the land behind.
The Property has been owned by the same family for over three generations and has been modified within the years to satisfy the changing needs.
In the past years a radical transformation has taken place, to create an appealing atmosphere, maintaining intact the structure of the typical farm house, but creating a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere for all it’s guests who have come to stay and wish to be part of the silent countryside.
THE HOUSES
- La Rusticuccia (sleeps 6)
is the house in were the caretaker lived. It is now a lovely two-floor house that has a cosy country kitchen with fire place, a living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a furnished garden.
- Il Fienile (sleeps 4)
was the Barn which has been completely renovated maintaining its characteristic wood structure and stone arches.
Suitable for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, the high ceiling space has a large entrance dining area, a lofted master bedroom, and a changing room with bunk bed leading to the bathroom. Access to a furnished external covered area, ideal for aperitifs and barbeques.
- La Stalla (sleeps 3)
was the old Stable that has been transformed into a delightful, large one bedroom open space apartment, suitable for a couple with a child.
It is situated on the ground floor with view and access to the pergola and main garden. La Stalla also has a living dinning area (with additional futon sofa bed), and a bathroom.
Corte della Rusticuccia has parking facilities and a swimming-pool is available between middle May till the end of September but it is an ideal place to stay in Tuscany at any time of the year, to spend and enjoy a pleasant holidays with your family and friends.
For the sport lovers the are many possibilities of:
- going for long walks in the forest behind Corte della Rusticuccia
- go trecking or mountain biking in the beautiful Apuan Alps
- play Golf on any one of the 5 courses available in the area.
But if none of that is to your liking you can always go the the sandy white beaches of the Versilian coastline which is just a 20 minute drive away.

Exit at Lucca Est on the Highway A11 Firenze–Pisa Nord and follow indicationsfor Pisa.
You will get on the sate road SS nr. 12 and after 5 km you will see the signpost of San Lorenzo a Vaccoli. Follow signs towards Restaurant “La Cecca” and take the small road on your left (Via di Ponte Guasperini).
After the bridge follow the road to your right (Via del Borgo) and the first building on your right is a Corte della Rusticuccia.
