The territory of Val Badia is constituted by alpine localities stretched down amid the most spectacular landscapes in the Dolomites boasting a spectacoular view on the valley line and the surrounding mountain peaks.

It is just the alternation of small maso farmstead and villages, green woods and cliffs that distinguishes the scenery of Val Badia, this narrow and long valley that extends along the Rio Gadera and Pusteria valley up to Val Gardena, a Ladin territory, the most ancient population in the Alps bearing their speech, cultures and folklore.

The southern part of the valley is named Alta Badia with Badia, Corvara and La Valle, rappresenting one of the main Italian skiing areas. In winter the Dolomiti Superski offers 130 km of tracks served by modern and fast systems of lift facilities, where the Ski World Cup takes place, and the Sellaronda Skimarathon, competition of alpine ski.

Val Badia is also an important tourist destination in summer: the mountain and nature lovers can visit the Fanes Senes Braies and Puez-Odle natural parks, the Pralongia plateau or the Sella Group. Trekking offers unforgettable walks along the paths of the valley, amid nature and in the fauna, in the day or in the night.
