Hotel Bracciano.

Bracciano is a small city in the north of Rome that is set on the southern rivers of the homonymous lake and it is a renowned tourist locality thanks to its natural beauties and the rich artistic heritage. The village rises in a zone inhabited since the Etruscan age, but this area had a great importance in Renaissance, when became property of the Orsini family and later on of the Odescalchi.

The symbol of Bracciano is the imposing Orsini-Odescalchi castle that dominates all the hamlet and which is considered one of the most beautiful castles of Italy for its architectonic characteristics and the optimal state of conservation. In its inside tourists can admire many historical furnishings, arms, armors, paintings and archaeological finds coming from the near sites of Caere Vetus and Alsium. Moreover on the towers of the castle we can admire the evocative scenery of the lake district.

The historical center has maintained the typical medioeval features with the tortuouses streets, the perrons and the houses in Renaissance style. Bracciano is rich of religious buildings, in particular the baroque churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santo Stefano with the beautiful sixteenth-century bell-tower.

Bracciano is a requested locality also for its lake and the surrounding landscape, characterized by hills covered by woods, ideal for pleasant walks and to relax. Along the shores it is possible to practice sailing and many nautical sports. Near Bracciano there are the renowned Terme di Stigliano and the pretty localities of Trevignano and Anguillara.
