Bibione is a beautiful city set on the Adriatic coast, in the eastern part of Veneto region, between the Port of Baseleghe and the foce of Tagliamento river. This area was reclaimed, at the begin of the 1900, and still today it is possible to see features of the pine forest that in the past covered the zone.
In 1956 the first works in order to transform this small village in a tourist locality began, with the construction of hotels and restaurants and in 50 years Bibione has become the second most attended seaside resort of Italy after Rimini, with about 6 million presences every year.

Bibione is an ideal place to spend your holidays at the sea, thanks to its gold beach that extends for 8 km and that is wide until 400 meters. The shoreline is equipped with modern bathing establishments for the confort and relax of tourists. Moreover on the large beach we can practice many activities like beachvolley, football, tennis beyond to the sail, surf and the nautical ski.
The center of the town, elegant and cured, is an ideal place to walk, to go shopping and to have supper in the characteristic restaurants, where it is possible to taste the dishes of the local cook.
In the evening the city offers many opportunities of fun thanks to its storees, nightspots and discotheques opened all the night.

From 1996 with the opening of the thermal center “Bibione Thermae”, the city offers the possibility of combining a traditional beach holiday with a good health programme in a well organized medical centre. Moreover Bibione allows to make pleasant excursions dipped in the nature of its beautiful pine forest or in the near lagoon, where can be admired the characteristic “casoni”, the typical constructions in swampy cane used by the fishermen of the zone.
