Hotel Peschiera del Garda.

Peschiera del Garda is a beatiful village which rises in the southern extremity of the Garda lake, where the Mincio river born, in one of the most strategic and panoramic places of the zone. The city conserve traces of its long history, from the ancient "Acrilica" of Roman times to important fortress of the Venice Republic. The most obvious examples are the majestic walls still intact, realized between 1553 and 1556, and the Rocca, a roman structure, that rises in the main square.

Nowaday Peschiera is one of the most renowned tourist localities of the Garda lake, thanks to its modern hotels, many tourist attractions beyond naturally to the beauty of this place. The tourists will be able to make pleasant walks in the medieval narrow lanes of the center characterized by many storees and above all in the hinterland, rich of routes that cross the famous vineyards of the zone.
In the locality of Pioppi instead it is possible to relax and sunbathe or to practice sport activity like canoe, sailing boat, windsurf, water ski, thanks to the numerous equipped structures that rise on the rivers of the lago.

At about 2 km from the village lies the small Frassino lake, a place a lot interesting both for the variety of flora and fauna, than for the presence of the Santuario della  Madonna del Frassino, builded in 1510 and that conserve pretty art works.
An event a lot heartfelt by the inhabitants of Peschiera del Garda and that attracts many visitors is the traditional "Palio delle Mura", a contest between rowing boats that carries out every year in the end of August on the channels of the Mincio valley.
