The whole complex is dominated by the highest spire (108.5 m) topped by the celebrated Madonnina lined with golden foil. Most interesting in the inside the splendid stained glass-windows dating from the XV and XVI century. In the crypt the remains od Saint Carlo Borromeo are kept.
