The new Palazzo Guiscardo Hotel takes its name from the founder of the town, Signor Guiscardo Pietrasanta, who received his own insignia of nobility in the year 1255 by the authority of Lucca to administarte the antique medieval settlement. Palazzo Guiscardo is situated in an original Liberty style building dating back to the 1800 century and during its transformation into a hotel we have carefully respected the original style, in order to preserve and highlights the characteristic elements of the period.
Palazzo Guiscardo hotel features 8 rooms of which 1 suite and 3 junior suites all elegantly furnished in different ways, with antique pieces and canopy-beds, to ensure a warm welcoming atmosphere.
Style and manners are those of a private home, boasting the services of a grand hotel.
Our bedrooms are soundproofed and independently air-conditioned with LCD television-set, internet connection, mini-bar and safe.
Furthermore bathrooms have Jacuzzi and boast a different marble type which enhances its elegance naming each one of our rooms, such as Giallo di Siena, Rosso Francia, Nero Portoro, etc.
