Excellent appetizers: terrine patés, flans, carpaccio of fish, etc.
Home made pasta, with fresh mushrooms and seasonal Alba truffles.
Finally fresh fish of any kind and cuts of our typical Piedmont excellent meat.

They say that the most panoramic point of the lake is the mountain and that long time ago the island was populated by dragons...
I used to go up there the last days of september when the sun is low, take a long time in the forests faced on the lake.
I scaned the roofs of the old town, the roof gardens in bloom... The ravished island.
The hotel was well chosen: few cleaned rooms... Simple and witty kitchen of
rare intensity.
